What do you think? There's really not a lot of difference, but the normal idiomatic phrase in my experience is 'sporting goods'. eg 'This store sells sporting goods'. Although, in theory, "good" can be used in its singular form, in practice it never is. Also "sport" is a noun, not an adjective. To convert it to an adjective use "sports" or "sporting".
