What are the differences between the followings:-
- Stall vs booth
- ensure vs make sure vs assure (infinitely confusing)

Hello!
stall/booth
I think they means the same thing, but "booth" may be heard more frequently in the US.
(stall can also mean: a tactic used to mislead or delay)
ensure/assure
"ensure" has to do with ensurance companies, wher you can insure your house for a certain value.
"assure" : "I can assure you the job will be done by tomorrow" = "you can be sure, I'm telling you, I promise"

Stall could be in an open market. A booth is usually an enclosure within a larger structure.

"stall" and "booth" mean about the same thing, but they are just used in combination with different words.
telephone [booth / *stall]
In a restaurant: Would you like a table or a [booth / *stall]?
a horse [stall / *booth]; a [stall / *booth] for an animal
