There are also some other less directly related meanings that you will find in your dictionary. I probably stands for something like that. Without a context, it's impossible to understand this vague statement. Perhaps it refers to something like 'I' stands for Igloo in a child's reading book? Although for children, we often say more simply I is for igloo.
