Should the word after "still"be in its base form?

Eg: "He still live"" and not "He still lives".

"He still lives"
is the only correct.

I just want to add that "He still lives" as a complete sentence has a literary feeling.

If you want to say "He still lives in the house he grew up in," that's fine.  But as a complete sentence, "He is still alive" sounds much more natural.
