Don't say it to your grandmother, or to Queen Elizabeth, or in a job interview. - If you're a home grown Texan, as you say, stop being a wuss. The meaining is that native-born texans are strong people. and replay - I usually try avoiding places where I might get into a "me or them" situation that's all.  A 'me or them' situation refers to a dangerous situation, where someone must lose (perhaps even their life). No wuss here... I am not a weak coward.
