Recently, I have been learning a book of pronunciation.  It says that sometimes we should pronunce a word in two syllables.  I agree. And my first questions is when I should pronunce a word with two syllables?

As the picture shows, "car" and "gone" are put on two syllables instead of one.

And my second question is how I can read in proper intonation.

My last question is whether one pronouces liaison only when he reads fast.

Thank you in advace!

I wouldn't call it two syllables-- just a glide.  It is an upward glide indicating a question.

Liaison occurs at any speed, as does reduction.  The strength of it depends on the speaker's conscious enunciation.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'
