Hi,

What does the part in bold mean?

Ann unnecessarily flies off the handle at her son, who calls her out on her actions. A stroll down memory lane is interrupted by a surprise guest.

Is 'stroll'  a verb here?

Thank you.

Hi,

'To call someone out' originally meant 'to challenge someone to a duel (often with swords or pistols)'.
Here, it seems to mean 'to argue with her about her actions, to disagree with her over her actions'.
It's not a very common phrase.

A stroll down memory lane
is interrupted by a surprise guest.

Is 'stroll'  a verb here? No, it's a noun.

Best wishes, Clive
