Hi

I'd like to ask you about these three words as in the subject line.

1. My back was stuffed for the whole seminar.                     Maybe it means that it hurt me?

2. I don't think the point of my call sunk in with him.

3. He was chasing up a bit of history over our family name.       Maybe it just means that he was looking for.

1.  I have no idea!

2.   If something doesn't sink in (as far as the brain!) with somebody, he doesn't fully understand it.  There is no awareness or comprehension of its true importance or of its logical consequences.

3.  Yes.  researching, looking up, looking for
