What does cramp your style mean? If I say he is cramping my style, what would you understand?

When you 'cramp my style' your presence is interfering in something I am trying to do. This is a slang expression, a bit old-fashioned, now often used ironically.
Example:
If a teenager has to take a younger sibling along to a get together with his friends, it will be more difficult for him to impress the girls, so he might complain that he younger one is 'cramping my style'.
