Can you please help me identify the relationship of the subordinate clause with the main clause in this sentence:

(1)He was so happy that he burst into a song.

that he burst into a song - adverb clause of result, modifying ....??

Similarly,

(2)He is as proud as a peacock.

as a peacock - adverb clause of comparison of degree, modifying ....??

(3)Though he is poor, he is honest.

though he is poor - adverb clause of concession, modifying ....??

I want to know how to identify the relationship.

1-- modifies the main clause
2-- modifies 'proud;
3-- modifies the main clause

You need to think about the meaning in order to identify the relationship.
