I still don't understard how the word "suggest" and other similar words are used in English . For instance , can i say i suggest you to stay at home? or should i say "i suggest that you stay at home".
Thanks in advance.

'Suggest' is not followed by object + infinitive, but by 'that' and '-ing' clauses:
I suggest (that) you stay home.
He suggested (that) I should stay home.
I suggest staying at home.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'
