Support once or Supporting once. ( Support twice or Supporting twice )

For parking - can I say " you can park the car beside the road." ( some parking spaces on the road. can I call it ' road parking ' or any other answers. )

Thanks very much for your help.

Hi,

Support once or Supporting once. ( Support twice or Supporting twice )

In what context do you want to use this phrase?

For parking - can I say " you can park the car beside the road." ( some parking spaces on the road. can I call it ' road parking ' or any other answers. )

You can park at/on the side of the road.

Best wishes, Clive

Thank you very much for your reply. Regarding "support once question", I want to use this phrase for BBS. Sometimes you find a good topic in a BBS, and support the topic starter. Can I post " Supporting once" or " Support once" ?

many thanks for your help.

I don't really understand this.

If you want to support the poster, write something meaningful. Or at least say "I'm interested in reading a response to this as well."

If I saw "supporting once" I would have no idea what you meant.

I wonder if you mean the impersonal pronoun 'one'? ie one's onstead of once.

eg When one expresses an opinion, it's nice when people support one's comments.

Best wishes again,

Clive

Thank you for your help.  I should correct it to " I support your comments. "   Is correct?

Thanks for your time.

"I agree" is shorter and more clear.
