The subject of this posting is what I read on the NewYorkTimes this morning as an article title.
I didn't know what 'Obama Makes His Case' means and tried search online dictionary but couldn't
find the answer.   I also would like to know some way to find answer for this kind of English Question since
regular dictionary doesn't help.  I looked for usage of 'case' but didn't get any helpful info.

Thank you for your help,

You will find this usage if you look at the Merriam-Webster online dictionary under the word 'case' (definition 5b):
ARGUMENT, especially : a convincing argument <makes a good case for adopting the proposal>

So, as I see it, the headline is basically saying that Obama is presenting convincing arguments about why people should vote for him.
