What's actually the difference between tour, trip, jouney and ride?

Tour:  (guided, perhaps), planned walk or drive around or through a specific area [we toured the Rocky Mountains, the winery, etc.].

Trip:  much the same as journey, although we often use the latter to emphasize a lengthy ordeal.

Ride:  probably a shorter event, by car, bus, even horse; [we had a nice ride yesterday afternoon].

A dictionary might help you more than these examples, which are not intended to be exhaustive.
