Hello

What's the difference among "take hold of ,grab hold of , get hold of , catch hold of',?

Thanks a lot.

"Grab hold of" and "Catch hold of" doesn't make any sense since grab, hold and catch means almost the same and becomes redundant in the phrase.

"take hold of" - seize or restrain or stop the motion of something
"get hold of" - to understand something.

Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. Experiment it, Experience it and you'll Discover it!
