Look at the wind pressure on the screen. It takes/has the shape of a squash with the bottom facing the Philipines.
1 Are there any mistakes?
2. Is there any difference between the two choices?
Thanks.

Is the wind-pressure shape changing as you watch? Also, squashes come in many shapes. And, it's

At the time of reporting, the shape was stable. Also, what do you call the shape of two B's attached back to back?

At the time of reporting, the shape was stable.--
So, I suggest avoiding 'take', which is an action.
(Actually, 'have' is not my first choice either.)
Also, what do you call the shape of two B's attached back to back?--
A butterfly?
A violin?
Also, it is a little ludicrous to think of a 'bottom' 'facing'.
Look at the wind pressure on the screen.
It's in
the shape of a
butterfly/violin
with the bottom
toward
the
Philippines
.
