Hi

What is a common way to say that 'I'm learning/studying to become a teacher of the English language'

I once heard the expression 'I do the teacher of English training course'. Is that the only way of saying it?
'I study English' is incomplete, isn't it? Because you can study English without being a teacher...

English teaching training course?

In your example, "the teacher of English training" is the name of that particular corse that the speaker is taking, this doesn't have necessarily the same name in other universities, colleges,...
