Welcome to the forums!

Depending on the situation, they could mean exactly the same thing.

What did she say? - This emphasizes the words she used. "She said that he was a big, fat jerk!"
What did she tell you? - This emphasizes the meaning of what she said. "Well, it was clear after talking to her that she doesn't like him very much."

But really, you could get the same information in response to either question.

Barbara, who answers in American English. My housekeeping skills attest to the truth of the second law of thermodynamics: Left to themselves, things get more and more random!
