I saw this paragraph from the Collins/Cobuild dictionary. P/S tell me what it means.

On linking, when a word with a final "vowel" is followed by a word beginnig with a vowel, /w/ is /y/ is added between two vowels.

ex. Do (w) I;  Who (w);  too (w) often
