Please explain! A few examples would be great!

Hello,

Have had and has had are used in the Present Perfect Tense if you have phrases such as these: to have dinner, to have breakfast, to have supper, to have a rest, to have a talk, to have a quarrel, to have a walk, to have a smoke, to have a good time, etc.

You use have for I, you, we, they and has for he, she, it.

Examples:

  1. I have already had a dinner.
  2. You have had a rest, haven't you?
  3. We have had a walk.
  4. They haven't had a good time.
  5. He has never had a smoke.
