What are the main differences that exist between the textbooks made by natives and the ones which are homemade.

Usually textbooks that are designed by professionals are extremely well structured and are fully comprehensive. Homemade ones can be as good, however they can be pretty poor too.

What exactly do you mean by 'homemade' though?
