Hello,

1. She is taller than me.

What is the function of "than" here?

Is it a conjunction  or preposition or esle?

She is taller than I am -- than is a conjunction

she is taller than I (am) -- than is a conjunction with ellipsis; rather formal

she is taller than me -- than as a preposition
