I am a pharmaceutical sales representative and want to send a thank you note to a doctor that gave me important information for my job. How should I write it?

What I would do is simply purchase a thank you card and write a quick personal note in the card.

Dear Doctor Healthy,

I greatly appreciate the assistance you gave me. It helped me get extra sales, a new job, or whatever.

Yours truly, (or Regards, Sincerely, Warm regards...)

If the help was substantial, say a new job, then you might want to offer to take the doctor out for dinner or buy the doctor a wonderful bouquet of flowers.
