What is the antonym of 'go down hard'?

Sweep the board would not apply to just one game, and I don't know if you are referring to a game or to a whole season's performance by your team.

I think 'swept to victory' would tend to be used transitively when the team owed their success to one person, or circumstance - "the team was swept to victory by the performance of EvilTony, who had a brilliant year!" <img src="/emoticons/emotion-5.gif" alt="Wink [;)]" />
