Just considering a few of the curiosities of the language:
Why is 'Abbreviation' such a long word?
Why is 'Pheonetically' not spelt pheonetically?
Why does 'Onomatapaeia' not sound onomatapaeic?
Isn't it cruel to spell 'Blind' with an 'i'?
Why isn't 'Palendrome' a palendrome?
Why is Santa an anagram of Satan?
Any other similar questions?

Hi there. Just a couple of corrections:
Phonetically (without an E after the PH...seems pretty phonetic to me)
Palindrome
Onomatopoeia and Onomatopoaic
It is impossible for onomatopoeia to sound onomatopoaic because it is not describing a sound. Onomatopoeia means "the formation or use of words that imitate the sounds associated with the objects or actions they refer to". Example: buzz

Pheonetically would have to start with an "F" to make it Pheonetic. Just dropping the "e" doesn't do it.
