In the future, knowledge will be as simple as selecting what you want to learn from a list and downloading it into your own head, It's inevitable as the world is seraching for and creating newer, faster ways of sharing information.

Do you think art will be included on that list, or will it be excluded and regarded as something you must learn through practice?

What kind of effect do you think it will have on aspiring artists?

Will all art styles run together and destroy the originality of each seperate artists mind?

Will art be forgotten all together and seen as nothing but history?

Will there be a line drawn between what can be shared and what must be practiced?

And...What do you think?

Art will always be there and will always live. For me, there's no doubt about it.

These possibilities are not dependent on future technology. There is only a difference in degree between the "downloadee" in your scenario, and the student who intensively studies the history of art to prepare for an exam. Yet we don't assume that the latter will produce better paintings after the exam.
