Please understand, that though I'm quite out-there with my rhetoric in saying these things, I will approach you intelligibly and hope to have a fun discussion, no friction between opinion.

This is always one of my favorite debates. It's interesting to see what diffrent people say about it. I can't deny that I have had experience with Marijuana, though not mundanely, but that only helps my side of the arguement, which is, most surely, for legalization (O, the gasps begin).

The biggest thing brought up with Marijuana is, "the government can't tax the drug." Now, this is something a lot of pro Marijuana scientists have proven their way into the government saying. Benjamin Franklin, who, by the way, smoked marijuana, once said, "Any man who gives away a little of his liberties for a little safety, deserves and achieves neither." It seems that statement says the government is afraid, and is in effect, taking our liberties, that is, pertaining to the tax dillema. They get enough tax income anyway, greedy conservatives. Well, that's what Hendrix said.

The government has been making up stuff to say about Marijuana, since illegalization, from what logical occurences have forced me to assume. Anyone who watches the government sponsored, 1920's film, "Reefer Maddness" knows it's full of fallacies, just from what we know of the drug today. It's actually, quite funny with it's obserdness. It even goes as far as saying that Marijuana is worst than Coke and Heroin. Believe me, I've lost many friends for messing with un-natural drugs, and Marijuana is like celery to that stuff. In truth, the government is running out of things to say about Marijuana, as seen on T.V. un-avoidingly.  Think of the "acted" commercial with the girl who got run over, riding her bike in front of Burger King's drive-thru. First off, what the hell was a six-year-old on a tri-cycle doing riding her bike across the Burger King drive-thru, which was nowhere close to any homes or apartments from what I could see, and un-attended by any parents, at all! It seems we should just put her in an adoption agency and give the parents a few years in the pin. I mean, come on, the parents had to of been drinking to let that happen! Let alone, that's not likely to have happened. Marijuana users are very alert when they're driving, it's one of the side effect, senses increase, as well as paranoia. Even if weed does make you that incoherent, it's because of street added chemicals, which wouldn't be there if it was legally bought. Secondly, how come there's no commercials on crack heads stabbing their friends for no reason, at all, other than a total loss of reality and altered personality due to chemical re-actions. Now that, that happens, and that, that is dangerous. And the whole lazy thing, now that, that's offensive. Most people who smoke pot are losers, simply because the government makes it appear to be stupid, which is why you get idiots doing it, as well. However some brain cells are lost, but not many. For instance, a hangover, yeah, that's dying brain cells. Pot doesn't have hang-overs, yay (More people smoke, less drink, less child abuse, too). I know people who smoke pot everyday, can give you highly formulated opinions on Quantum Physics, and work harder than anyone I know.

The next thing the government is always saying is, "It's a gateway drug." That it is, I will admit it, but if it was illegal, what would they call the gatewat drug then? Trust me, I'm from a place where there's so many drugs, the Georgia police force had to get 24/7 help from the DTF (Drug Task Force) which do the drugs, too (heh, government agencies). They don't even handle major activities anymore, and if Marijuana was gone, dear god, I could not begin to count the dead bodies of children due to th poisonous fumes caused by cooking meth. Parents are all ready leaving kids so they can get their crack fix, and only more will prosceed to. Besides, I've seen kids do crack just because they were drunk, if weeds gone, more kids are going to get drunk, and... You get what I'm saying.

Now, death, if you know anyone who's died of smoking pot, you're lying or you need to check that crap your friends been getting. I'm sorry, but they're most likely on crack, because it's scientific prove that pot cant cause overdose. You can seriously smoke it until you're not high anymore. It's the chemicals, man, they can  get you, that is, unless you're smoking poison Ivy or something, but that's your bussiness. Lastly, if you wanna see gang violence go down... legalize. Most gang members don't want to deal anything more serious than pot. I mean, if your caught with XTC in L.A., you're getting man-slaughter. O, yeah, lets not forget they're starting to believe it cures heart desease, and seriously cures Glucoma, Asthma, and Cadiracs. Good for migranes, too.

I hope you found this amusing, whoever reads, and no, I'm not trying to encourage any illegal drug use. Secondly, if you do smoke pot, use Civil Disobediance, and do it occassionally, so the few brain cells you do loose, come back stronger. Get some brains out of it. That's always great.

Hi, Quantumly_Dreaming,

Why don't you start a poll asking people what they think of this issue, whether Marijuana should be legalized or not?
