Hello, all

I am trying to remember a movie I saw when I was about ten years old. It's based on the Jules Verne novel. The "journey" starts as a wager wherein a subterrene should go a certain way in a certain period of time. During their journey, the crew find themselves in an underground world inhabited with people and dinosaurs, where most of the movie takes place. In the end, the subterrene gets back onto the surface in a graveyard. IIRC, one of the lead actors is Tony Curtis.

Does anyone remember the movie?

Thanks in advance,
Anton

I know there's a same-named movie staring Pat Boone, but it is not what I am trying to find.

Hi,

Check Tony's filmography here.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000348/

Are you positive it was him?

( I had to look up what IIRC means. )   DTSY?

Clive,

Couldn't find anything similar in his filmography. I would have thought this a fantom memory, but my father remembers the movie too, although he never knew the actors' names... We both like this other movie more than "The Journey..." with Pat Boone.

So you found a very rare one for me?
