Hi!
This is how I understand it:
1. inflation is a continuous increase in prices, and, more generally, in cost of life;
2. "indexation of wages to inflation" means that salaries grow when
prices increase (by the same quantity). Eg: if prices rise by 2% per
year, the same will happen to wages;
3. the whole sentence means that the government wants to put an end to
this connection; as a result, prices and wages will increase or
decrease independently.
That's my opinion. Hope it makes sense.
