Dawg is also like capped or moded or in non-slang terms put-down. It is like saying "Man, that girl dawged you" this is probably more used then I dawged my food. I've never heard anyone say that and I'm in California, I hear all the slang! lol.
More specifically holla mean's to holla at a girl, as in cupcaking, as in trying to get at a breezy, non-slang: flirting with a girl.
All these slang terms are used by mostly everybody young to old in California. It's not limited to a specific race, some have derived from the South and others from African-American cultures but remember the vocabularies of both are similar because of the mixture of cultures in the 1700's and 1800's. Basically, a lot of the African-Americans are also Southern Americans!
