The odds of one number not turning up for 8 spins is over 1:25 meaning that 24 out of 25 times you WILL get the result you want
Please, explain me the red text, it is about gambling in a casino.

odds is similar to probability.

odds states the number of chances that something will happen and the number of chances it won't happen. A flip of the coin has 1 to 1 odds that it will be heads.

Probability states the number of chances that something will happen, and the total number of chances. A flip of the coin has a 1 in 2 probability to be heads.

Note that 'odds' is a plural word.

The odds of one number not turning up for 8 spins are over 1:25
