I am doing a project in my Global English class and came upon a book that described the United States as a Language Graveyard. Could someone please explain this to me?

Hi,

It's a phrase that is open to interpretation.

Did you read the book? Or even the first page or two? In other words, did you get any feeling at all for what the author was focusing on?      (If you didn't, why didn't you? )
