Just a feeling of mine. But look at what the USA government has been doing to the world: Intruding Iraq, threating Iran, harassing Russia and China, etc.

What do you think?

We're just not keeping the secret quite as well as we used to.  But now that our ex-CEO's are holding all the money, you may see us cut down on the crazy spending.  (I hope they all go to Dubai for a big party   -   or Alcatraz.)

Osee,

Let me make sure I understand your statement.

Harassing Russia and China!

Threatening Iran! Are you kidding me?  Who is the threat? and who is being threatened?

Iraq….I don’t agree with the term “intrusion” but I don’t like how it’s been handled

There are things happening in the US which caused me to feel very upset.

But in a  bigger global view, I can equate to this. Imagine what a block  would be like when a bully is threatening every kid and telling them “I will kill you if you dare resist”.  You probably wish a big kid will stand up to this bully. Iran is just that bully. And that big kid to stand up, well, you draw the conclusion.

That’s all I have to say!

I know Dubai, but what is Alcatraz? Something like Dubai?

Alcatraz is a famous island in the middle of San Francisco Bay.  It was home to the most notorious federal maximum-security prison, where all the gangsters from the 30's were sent.  Bobby Kennedy closed it when he was Attorney General under his brother.  I hear they're converting the old prison into a hotel.

There were proposals with different concepts to convert the infamous jail house to a tourist attraction. But nothing materialized.
Alcatraz is an ideal setting for a jail. We should seriously consider some of the bigger islands in the Pacific as homes for the hard-core criminals. Let them figure out for their own survival instead spending hundreds of millions of our tax dollars to build fancy jail facility
for them.

Avangi, you're just plain incredible! Smile I've seen Alcatraz; I think it's too close, it can easily be reached by boat. Dubai is far too good for any offender or criminal. They've got a nice beach, a luxurious modern hotel next to the beach  -  and lots of other hotels, of course  -  and an excellent tennis center close to the airport.

Hi CB,
I guess I was just being oblique.  I think of Dubai as Vegas squared    -  excess to the Nth.  One of these CEO's got over seven hundred million (wages??)  At least Bill Gates deserved his billion.  (I guess that's arguable too.)

I know it's not exactly true, but I think of Dubai as being built by petro-dollars from the pockets of American taxpayers.  Vegas has been built a little more by working folks choosing to make fools of themselves.

(I know I'm rambling.)  The CEO's raped us.  The government was complicit. They won.  Why don't they just take their millions and go?    -   get the f*** out?  go party with the oil shieks?  -   leave us alone.

There, I got that out of my system!

I believe a majority of Americans do not want to see Iraq war. Since the USA government claims the country is built on democracy, I do not understand why the majority's opinion failed to be obayed.

BTW, Avangi, by CEOs, you actually mean the presidents, right?
