The use of 'but'

dear sirs & Madams

1- Is this sentense correct:      "She is shy but she is not foolish."

and what about this one:         "She is shy but not foolish."

2- One of my friends suggested that the use of 'but', here, was wrong:

                              "She is shy but wise."

According to him, this shows that 'a shy' is considered normally foolish. And this is not a universal truth.
Does my sentense show this (hidden) meaning?

3- Please correct any other grammatical mistakes where ever you find (them).

Please be kind. I'm new to English.

2- One of my friends suggested that the use of 'but' here was wrong:   commas not needed

                              "She is shy but wise."

According to him, this shows that 'a shy person' is considered normally foolish. And this is not a universal truth.
Does my sentence show this (hidden) meaning?   I don't read it  as having  a hidden meaning, but maybe it depends on who is reading the sentence.  Perhaps "sensible" would be better after "but". "She is shy and yet wise" would be a good alternative.

Sending a 'minor' (beginner in English) to an Adult (experts) zone is no rudeness. But you may call it a bit injustice. so i said "please be kind."

thanx anyway. if i stay in touch with 'englishforums', that zone is not far away.
