It seems lately that whoever I talk to, where ever they are in the world, they are experiencing unusual weather.
Is the summer or winter that you are experiencing now, a fairly normal one?
Here in Perth our summers are usually hot, this has been
our mildest summer in over 80 years. On the whole the weather has been
delightful. Sales of airconditioners and swimming pools are down 80%.
This is very good, but unusual.

Hey, here is Beijing China, and this is our winter that is much colder this time, but nearly over.
There had been a huge snowfall yesterday, and this is weird in beijing but I just enjoy that.

In Calcutta, winter is almost over. Woollens are already back in the closet, although the ceiling fans aren't exactly on yet.
The weather is awful - sometimes cloudy, sometimes sunny with a cool breeze. Everyone(including me) has sore throats, and we don't know what to do to get comfortable in this strange weather.
Wish it would end! ![Sad [:(]](/emoticons/emotion-6.gif)

Thanks, Ogre!
I'm used to this, though - my throat decides it needs a three-week rest every three months . So trust me, I'm quite quite familiar with the routines of a throat infection. ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/emotion-2.gif)

The weather where I am is fairly normal. It is a bit drier than the last few years have been, and more windy.

Mmm let me ponder a while... well it's been ages since it last snowed. Nevertheless, it's rotally perishing, I'm growing doubtful that the chill is ever going to cease. The worst of it is that the weather forecasts say still more bleak days lie ahead... .Hmm on the other hand this means that most certainly the classes will be dismissed owing to the harsh weather and I'll be able to laze around near the fireplace and do some reading. Wicked, isn't it?

It's winter where I am. The weather here in Kentucky, as of now, if about normal for this time of year. A high temperature around 30 degrees Fahrenheit. There's snow on the ground... which I couldn't be happier about. January was an unusually mild month for us, but the rest of February is predicted to be brutally cold.
