However, although the generated software calculates the costs efficiently, it still needs some adjustments.   This is all.

I am not sure if I have understood your abstract, but this is what  I can make of it.

I think this goes that way because you can't say "was done". You must say "is doing", "has/had done" or "did".

i had tried to use "purpose" to get as an "aiim" "goal" not proposal, proposed

I am interested as to why you do not see "proposed" as a suitable word, since this word shows that there is an intention or an aim to change the methods and implement improved ones..

Also, the answer relating to the accounting  - it is correct to have "was done" in this sentence.
