Hi everyone. I hope you are all well. I have learned this forum from dilforum page. Anyway, I am a student, and in this term I am going to prepare my thesis which is about second language acquisition theories. For this reason, I am looking for any sources related to my topic. I have found some books; however, I have to have more. So I am writing to here hoping may be you have a thesis or a book about my topic. Or may be you can find some sources. I am looking forward to hearing good news from you all. Thanks for interest.

I thought I would leave a response.  Stephen Krashen and Jim Cummins both support a theory that draws distictions between language acquisition and language learning.  Data gathering used to support findings discussed by Krashen and Cummins are derived from bilingual education, but the essence of the theory is sound (and simple).

If you've already collected some info. on Krashen and Cummins , great.  If not, do some searches and see what comes up.

Good luck!

Thanks for your response. I've gathered information about Krashen but not about Cummins. I will search the latter. I appreciate your suggesitions.
