Think or think of

Hi,

Please help me to use the word or  phrases correctly. They are 'think' and 'think of'. Can you check the sentences/examples of mine?

1. I think the car as being marvelous. (Not correct, I think)

2. I think of the car as being marvelous.  (Correct, I think)

3. I think it as modern and upscale. (Not correct)

4. I think of it as modern and upscale.  (Correct)

5. I think him as gentle and upright.   (Not correct)

6. I think of him as gentle and upright. (correct)

7. I think him as a righteous person.  (Not correct??)

8. I think of him as a righteous  person.  (Correct??)

Do you have some tips for me to see better?
