You really upset me a lot when you did not go on a date with me, because I probably found a lot of enjoyment in it.

Hi,

you really upset me a lot when you did not have a date with me, because I probably found a lot of enjoyment in this dating.

There are quite a lot of things about this sentnece that are odd in meaning and that are unidiomatic. Let me suggest that you say it this way:

You really upset me a lot when you would not give me a date, because I would have enjoyed dating you.

Your sentence did not start with a capital letter. This probably seems  like a tiny error to you, but it is the first thing that I noticed. It makes me think 'Hmmm, this person does not care about simple things, yet seems to care about more complex errors. That's strange.'

Let me put it another way. If you write to me for a job and you make mistakes about capitals, I won't give you the job, because I will think that you are a careless person.

So, please be careful about such simple matters.Smile [:)]

Best wishes, Clive
