Are mop and squeegee synonym in meaning?

(f)She likes to tidy her room and others.

Not my favorite composition, Yoong Liat, but there is nothing grammatically wrong with it.

In my experience, squeegees are a subspecies of mop-- a squeegee is a sponge on a stick with a mechanical squeezing mechanism, and could be called a mop (anything absorbent stuck on a stick)  if there is not a real string mop or rag mop or dust mop or wet mop around.
