"Moebius kept going further back into time "
Does it make sense, knowing that Moebius is some kind of software that enables one to visualize the film of what happened 5 days , 20 years, 2 centuries aso ago?
(Yes, I'm into SciFi, now!)

I think it would be "in time" rather than "into time"
