2) It seemed to me that it was kind of a dangerous adventure.

What is the difference between the above sentences?

"kind of" is weaker.

Is he happy? He's kind of happy. (not fully happy)

Is it hot? It's kind of hot. (not really all that hot)

Was it dangerous? It was kind of dangerous.
