What does 'to catch a pass' stand for ?? Does it mean to score a point in a game ??   Anonymous

So, his team-mate has to catch the pass. It may or may not lead to scoring a point. 	Danyoo  +  162785 Sat, 26 Nov 05 01:15 AM That comic strip is being satirical about the American football players who often like to show off after scoring a touchdown.  In American football, the quarterback throws a pass and if the receiver catches the ball in the end zone, his team gets credited with 6 points.  It's called a touchdown and many players will do a celebratory dance routine which puts all spot lights on himself and totally ignore his teammates.
