What's the difference b/w those two sentences?

1) What is your connection to Dimitri?

2) What is your connection with Dimitri?

I would use "with" in situations like this.

You may catch the train that connects to Albany at the last station in NYC.

Two things connect with; two things are connected to each other by something inbetween.
