Well, we in BrE are more likely to talk about pounds, rather than dollars!

However, we would say...
1. I am £200 worse off.
2. I am £200 better off, or I am £200 to the good.

We never say "I am £200 to the bad."!!!

Meanings:

- I am £200 to the good.
=> You get a profit of 
£200

I am £200 to the bad.
=> You get a loss of
£200
