Do you mean solute excretion or solute secretion, please?

Solute is a substance that is dissolved in a solvent to form a solution.

E.g: sugar dissolved in water. In this case the sugar is the solute which is going to get dissolved in water which is the solvent.

Solute secretion:

E.g: NaCl & water solute secretion in the ascending limb of the Loop of Henle, to make the Urine more concentrated (renal physiology).

Solute excretion:

E.g: The amount of urine excreted/day is dependant on the amount of solute to be excreted.

Hope I was of help.
