Hi!

I want to say that there is heavy traffic because of the rain. My friend said there is a phrase "jam in the rain" to catch exactly what I mean. Is there such a saying?

Thanks!

No I can't think of any idiom or phrase to mean specifically a traffic jam caused by rain.

You have to say something like 'stuck in a traffic jam because of the rain' or 'the rain is causing a traffic jam'.

Jam in the rain makes me think of people eating bread and jam in the rain!Huh? [:^)]
