Would you please help me understand and translate the following sentences?

1) Don't read too much into this deal.

Definition = Ne voyez pas des choses qui n'existent pas dans ce contrat ???)

Translation = ???

2) His boss walked him out.

a) Le patron l’a raccompagné à la porte. (?)

b) le patron l'a renvoyé / licencié. (?)

1) Yes, but perhaps  I'd use "affaire," not "contrat."
2) Son patron l’a raccompagné à la porte.
