I'm trying to translate into Spanish some Philip Sidney's poems. I'm not quite sure if this is the main purpose of your site, but

in any case, thank you for your help. May I translate the word entertain, as receiving some visit, besides its aception of amusing?

Another question: May we considered the use of the auxilary shall not only as a future form, but with the same meaning of could?

Wich Dictionary of Literary Terms Online do your recommend?

that version of entertain is fine, in fact it is still in use today.

not sure about the shall/could.
