The point is that not all communication in English is between native speakers and non-native speakers.

English can be used among non-English-native speaking peoples.

Yes.

For example, some Africans and Europeans (from none-English-speaking countries) come to Shenzhen these days for business purposes. They all speak English in, let's say, Saige Electric Market, trading with our Chinese businessmen.

And I'm sure others can give many more examples.It's the truth that English is a universal communicating utility nowadays.
